How to play
Lose every card before the table turns on you.
The aim is simple: be the first to get rid of your cards. The last player left with cards is the Cacahead.

Step by step
The full round.
- Deal nine cards.Each player gets three face-down cards, three face-up cards on top of them, and three cards in hand.
- Set your table.Before the game starts, swap cards between your hand and your face-up table cards. Choose the three cards you want visible for later.
- Start low.The lowest card begins, except for 2 because it is a magic reset card.
- Play equal or higher.On your turn, play a card equal to or higher than the pile. You can play one card, matching cards, or a clean run.
- Pick up if stuck.If you cannot play a valid card, pick up the whole pile and add it to your hand.
- Keep three in hand.While the draw deck has cards, refill your hand to at least three cards after playing.
- Move to table cards.Once your hand is gone, play your face-up cards one at a time.
- Finish blind.When your face-up cards are gone, play your face-down cards without looking.
- Crown the Cacahead.The game keeps going until only one player has cards left. That player is the Cacahead.
Magic card
2 resets the pile.
A 2 can be played on any card. It resets the order, so the next player can play anything.

9 makes it lower.
After a 9, the next player must play lower than 9 for that turn. Then play goes back to normal.

10 burns the pile.
A 10 removes the pile from the game. Four of the same number also acts like a burn.
